This must be the year that all rappers release a memoir... I'm definitely not mad. Jay-Z just released "Decoded" on November 16th, Sha-Rock from the Funky Four +1 More released "Luminary Icon" earlier in the summer, and I'm sure I'm forgetting others.
Well now Common has joined in, and is now writing his own memoir called "One Day It'll Make Sense", also the name of his debut album. Common's memoir will be a collaborative effort with Adam Bradley who wrote "Book of Rhymes: The Poetics of Hip-Hop" and "The Anthology of Rap".
The book will take you from his days in Chicago rapping to his current status as a Hollywood star.
"One Day It'll Make Sense" is due June 2011.
